Queer Eye on Netflix has become the must-watch sensation for people who like to see slobs getting made over or just want a good cry at the end of the day. The Fab Five are incredibly watchable, with Tan France showing folks how to dress, Bobby Berk redesigning their home, Jonathan Van Ness showing them how to love and care for their bodies, Karamo Brown healing their souls and Antoni Porowski doing…something with food? It’s hard not to imagine what other show formats these gay men might whip into shape. How might they be as detectives? Wonder no longer!

Sierra Burgess Is a Loser premieres on Netflix September 7 and from the trailer alone it looks like this movie has everything we love: mistaken identities, marching bands, and Noah Centineo. And Shannon Purser! (Barb!) And while our first instinct is to gush over this 80s-esque teen comedy, the source material for this movie actually goes back further. Like, all the way back to 1897. Sierra Burgess Is a Loser is a high school comedy adaptation of the classic play Cyrano de Bergerac, a play about a cadet in the French army so ashamed of his large nose that he hides behind the identity of a handsome soldier as he professes his love for the beautiful Roxane. Sounds like catfishing, if you ask us. But the play ends happily. Sort of.

John Krasinski might be known as the adorable Jim Halpert from The Office, but don’t let that fool you. This Emmy-nominated actor is far more that just a likeable prankster, and at the end of this month, he’ll be proving his action hero talents by starring in Jack Ryan, a new series from Amazon. The series is based on the literary adventures of the titular character, lifted from the pages of Tom Clancy’s Ryanverse thrillers. Ryan is a CIA Analyst, an ex-Marine and past history teacher, and he’s been delighting fans of Clancy’s works for decades (first appearing in 1984’s Hunt For Red October).
