Saturday, July 7 is World Chocolate Day and we have cocoa and sugar on the brain. To celebrate this (totally valid, completely real) holiday, we’re looking back at some of our favorite chocoholics in pop culture – with a literary bent! Would you expect anything less?

Moving. Decluttering. Massive spontaneous bookshelf collapse. All are good reasons to consider re-homing some well-loved books. But where should those books go? It’s not like you can summon a magical book dragon to whisk them away to an enchanted library (though, if you have connections like that, tweet us the deets at @quirkbooks). Here are some wonderful ways to share your used books that are fun for you and benefit the community.

We’re five weeks into The Bachelorette and it’s anyone’s game. There are so many chiseled and coiffed men vying for Becca’s attention, it makes our heads spin. (Some would say too many men and we see you, Jordan. And we also see that villain edit you’re getting.) But in a world where everyone’s phones have been taken away and there’s a suspicious lack of food, what else is there to do but read? We took the time to come up with book recommendations for some of the more, um, memorable men in the mansion. Who knows. Maybe it’ll keep them occupied between group dates.

It is the age of the reboot. Or at least it seriously feels like it! While we’re currently excited for the Charmed reboot, we can see why so many viewers feel overwhelmed by the amount of that-thing-that-ended-is-getting-resurrected on TV. Which is why we’re here to offer a new kind of reboot we very much want to see: TV characters we’d love to see star in PI novels.

News flash — we love donuts so much that we're celebrating National Donut Day ALL MONTH LONG. If you’re thinking, "But if I eat a donut while reading, I'll get my book/e-reader all sticky and the ants will come!” Don’t worry. We've mastered eating donuts while reading.

Option 1: Designate one hand for page turning and one hand for donut holding—never switch.

Option 2: Go the prim and proper way and eat your donut with a fork and knife, a method even a Queen would approve of—or Meghan Markle. Now on to the important stuff: which donut to eat with what book?
