Now that the holidays are over and there’s no better way to pass the time than by reading, writing and enjoying the bookworm lifestyle, get ready for another week of awesome Philadelphia literary events, including, this week, readings, readings, and readings!
On Tuesday, July 15th, The Erotic Literary Salon returns featuring Heidi Champa, reading from her new novel The Hot Corner. A discussion about the marriage and lifestyle of an erotica author will follow.
Also on the 15th, at the Free Library of Philadelphia, author Robin Black will read from her debut novel Life Drawing and author J. Courtney Sullivan from her new novel The Engagements.
On Wednesday the 16th, Wooden Shoe is offering a workshop on submitting a Freedom of Information Act request with records requester Austin Nolen.
On Friday the 18th at Big Blue Marble, novelist, playwright and journalist David Kalish will give a reading from his new novel The Opposite of Everything, recognized as top literary novel at the Somerset Fiction Awards.
Finally, on the 19th as well at Musehouse, the working writers group will feature six different readers from six different area small presses in celebration of independent publishing in Philly!
