It’s that time of year again when finding the perfect gift for the perfect person becomes tantamount to a feat like that only managed by Atlas. With the weight of the gift giving world pressing down on everyone, the question then becomes this: what's the best present to give those geeky friends on your list of recipients? We at Quirk have decided to give eight geeky gifts for eight crazy nights.
Night One: Comic Book Socks
It wouldn’t be Hanukkah without an awesome pair of socks! There is no shortage of really cool footwear which can be worn all throughout the year.
Night Two: Harry Potter Funko Pops
Harry Potter has become one of the most popular properties in the world. Nearly everything in the world has a Harry Potter version. Combine this type of extreme pop culture power with the cuteness of the ubiquitous Funko Pops and there is no escaping the power of J.K Rowling’s creation.

Night Three: Atomic Blonde on Blue Ray
Charlize Theron is one of the best action stars these days. The same woman who brought the awesome power of Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road has created yet another powerful woman in this explosive film. There is no doubt that her character Lorraine Broughton would give James Bond a run for his money. Combine the film with a copy of the Oni Press comic it was based on and that is one hell of a third night gift.
Night Four: Paper Girls Deluxe Edition
Created by Brian K Vaughn, comic Paper Girls in one of the best reads of the last few years. Following a bunch of young women as they traverse strange lands and alternate dimensions, this comic pushes the boundaries of the best science fiction. This particular version collects the first ten issues in one expansive tome. There are few comic book geeks who wouldn’t love this to add to their shelves.
Night Five: The Art of Star Wars The Last Jedi
For those fans of a galaxy far far away, there is always an amazing coffee table book which shows the complex process of creating all of those lands and creatures in the Star Wars universe. While some art of movie books can be underwhelming at times, the Star Wars books are always impressive collections from some of the best sci-fi artists working in the industry.
Night Six: Dr. Who Comforter
Those cold nights of winter are really starting to encroach on the sixth night of Hanukkah. Cuddling up under the sheets doesn't have to be a boring event! For those who love the idea of spending their evening with their favorite Doctor, there is a Tardis comforter set which should do the trick.
Night Seven: Replica Props
Almost every fandom has a movie attached to it. With that in mind, it seems that replica props from a geeky girl’s favorite geeky property would be a perfect fit. Wonder Woman’s tiara, Hermione Granger’s wand, Katniss Everdeen’s Mockingjay pin and more are all available to own for a range of prices. Just find the right prop and wrap it up.

Night Eight: Hot Toys Action Figures
As the most realistic looking action figures on the market, Hot Toys are the peak of geekdom. With a wide range of characters to choose from, any geeky fan can find something to add to their collection. Just make sure to purchase a display case to go with the figure so that it can be posed and placed anywhere safely!
