While evergreens are ever-traditional for the holiday season, booklovers with a little crafty know-how can build their own trees out of the one thing we all love: books! Caution: some of these designs call for painting or damaging books, so they’ll be ideal for those old paperbacks or that encyclopedia you’ve got boxed up in the attic.

Last week, (now New York Times bestselling author!) Andrew Knapp visited The Creator Class for a very special festive photo shoot. Armed with his camera and his adorable best bud Momo, they staged this lovely photo shoot, just for you guys.

We're excited to announce that Find Momo, the hide-and-seek photography book by Momo's best buddy Andrew Knapp, has landed on this month's New York Times specialty best sellers list. The list is a roster of the best of the best of animal-themed books sold in November and we're all wagging our tails at the news that Momo has snagged the # 11 spot. Good boy Momo (and Andrew)!

Happy Jane Austen Day, everyone! Today marks the very first Jane Austen Day, thanks to the Jane Austen Centre. The bookish Internet is celebrating, and of course, so are we. Because here at Quirk, we're huge fans of Jane Austen, from our books to our blog posts.

This sweet and salty treat may disappear moments after you set it out for your guests! For an edible party decoration, add a few drops of food coloring to the sugar syrup and then pile the popcorn in tall glass jars.
