And being that it’s Wonder Woman Week, we can’t help but wonder if the women featured in those two books would enjoy meeting each other and going on adventures and stuff.

Richard Scarry is a best-loved children’s author. He illustrated over 150 books, many of which have never been out of print, and created memorable characters like Lowly Worm and Huckle Cat. For generations, Scarry has been teaching children about community helpers, concepts, and more, always encouraging imagination, learning, and exploration. While it’s (almost) always fun to see a favorite book turned into a movie, sometimes television is the medium more capable of bringing the true depth and scope of a beloved book for the screen. Some of the most popular and critically acclaimed shows right now, such as Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, and The 100, are adaptations of popular novels, and that’s just scratching the surface.
