Congrats to the Winner of the #StayPeculiar Costume Contest!

Last month, we kicked off the #StayPeculiar Costume Contest for a chance to win a trip to visit Ransom Riggs on this Library of Souls book tour. And wow, have we seen some phenomenal entries since then! You guys have blown us away with your creativity and photo editing skills. After much deliberation, our Booktuber judges (Jesse the Reader, XtineMay, and Katytastic) have finally settled on one winner for the grand prize.

Parting is Such Sith Sorrow: A Look Back at Shakespeare’s Star Wars

The curtain is falling, the Death Star has been destroyed, the play is over, the final credits are rolling. Use whatever metaphor you like, the fact is that all six William Shakespeare’s Star Wars books are now out and available, which means I am officially caught up with the Star Wars movies.

And, exhale.

Hot Dogs with a Nordic Twist

The Nordic countries—Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland—have given the world things like Skype, Angry Birds, Of Monsters and Men, Lars von Trier, the Noble Peace Prize, and, last but not least, Nordic Noir. In other words, the Nordic countries are not afraid to put their own twist on things.

Something else that they have put their own twist on is the hot dog.
