Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way since the days of Harry Potter. The young actor has moved on from the franchise that made him, experimenting with on-stage nudity in Equus, small screen drama/comedy in A Young Doctor’s Notebook, action in Now You See Me 2, and especially horror, with movies such as Horns and Victor Frankenstein.

As well as becoming known as an accomplished actor, Radcliffe has also gained something of a reputation for being a whole lot of fun off-screen, as well. He has pranked paparrazi by wearing the same outfit every day, to make photos useless. He’s rapped on late night television, played sticky balls with Jimmy Fallon and talked about naked bongo playing. It’s not surprising, then, that he’s had some great moments at comic conventions, as well—and we’ve wrapped up some of our favorites.

Blair Thornburgh is an editor at Quirk Books. She's also an armchair medievalist, feminist virago, extremely poor banjo player, and children's book writer. Her days at Quirk are spent reading Wikipedia articles about Icelandic necromancy for "research," forgetting what she went down to the book room for, eating snacks, and making puns with Rick (oh, and editing books. She does a lot of that). Her hair color changes about every six weeks, give or take. Her first novel Who's That Girl hit bookstores on July 11.

It's almost Shark Week 2017, aka the week of sharp teeth, fins, and about fifty more rows of sharp teeth, and all the sharks you could possibly hope for. Shark Week isn't only around to terrify and frighten us out of the water for the rest of our lives. It helps to educate and bring awareness to these amazing creatures. We thought we'd take a look at some of the best—and somewhat ridiculous—sharks in pop culture to help us get in the mood. 

It’s no mystery that Agatha Christie is the mistress of intrigue. Many consider her masterpiece to be And Then There Were None, a whodunit that will leave you guessing. Many TV shows have paid homage to Christie’s work and we’ve selected some of the best!

In honor of Harrison Ford’s 75^th birthday this past week, and Game of Thrones returning for its seventh season this weekend, today we are ranking some of Harrison Ford’s iconic characters by their likelihood to survive in the Seven Kingdoms. For the purposes of this post, we will assume that while the characters retain their personalities, they will bring none of the technology of their worlds into Westeros. Which means no blasters for Han Solo and zero ambiguity over whether Deckard is a Replicant.

Comic books come and go. It is the nature of the industry that as interest ebbs and flows, so do the comic books which contain our favorite characters. Where a fan might be able to get Animal Man or Iron Fist comics one month, those characters may be out of vogue the very next month and might not show up again for a very long time. Still, what's a super fan to do if he or she really loves a character? Well, the simple solution would be to make that character's adventures a part of your life forever. Where comics may come and go, comic book art is forever. We wanted to help those attending San Diego Comic-Con (and other conventions this year) with their purchases this year by providing a handy buyer's guide for comic art.
