On May 14, 2013, George Lucas turns the ripe old age of 69.  And, as I’m sure you are aware, Mr. Lucas recently sold his sizable galactic empire to Disney.  What you may not know is that Quirk has a book called Disneystrology: What Your Birthday Character Says About You. So, I thought it might be fun to see what Mr. Lucas’ birthday character says about him. So without further ado, I present George Lucas’ Disney star-sign soulmate:

Another year, another con. San Diego Comic Con 2012 was another resounding success.

The booth looked great. We sold a ton of books. We had a successful book signing. We spotted some celebrities. And, saw some pretty great costumes. See the gallery below for a bunch of our photos.

In honor of Father’s Day, I have chosen a few of my favorite pop-culture dads. They don’t always make fatherhood look easy, but they usually have the best intentions.

In many ways, these guys could’ve helped write Stuff Every Dad Should Know… and could also be readers who learn a little something from the book.

According to Wikipedia, an adult can achieve a blood alcohol level of .03 (or less) after consuming 1 alcoholic beverage.  Said beverage would result in mild euphoria, relaxation and joyousness with little impairment to your judgment.  After a long day, that sounds pretty good, right?  

BEA is almost here and as you might have seen in this earlier post, we are really excited. And we want to give you a chance to take home some special swag from the Quirk Books prize patrol.
