#TwitterFiction Festival: Tweet Your Novel!
Get ready to tweet your novel!
Or novella, or short story, or whatever yarn you’d like to spin. Because you’re invited to participate in #TwitterFiction Festival 2014, a partnership between the Association of American Publishers (AAP), Penguin Random House, and Twitter. This second-ever festival of 140-character storytelling happens March 12-16, and will feature leading authors creating new experimental fiction in tweet-sized bursts.
Participating authors to date include Jim Gaffigan, Brad Meltzer, Emma Straub, and Quirk Books authors Ransom Riggs, Ben Winters, and Eric Smith.
And you too can be a featured storyteller. Check out twitterfictionfestival.com to find out more and submit your story idea. Entries will be accepted through February 5, and judged by a panel of AAP publishing executives. The best entries will be featured during festival week alongside more than 20 established and emerging authors. (If you're not on Twitter already, don't worry, just sign up. You don’t need lots of followers to qualify. All you need is a great idea!)
Plus, anyone who wants to can create and tweet their fiction during the festival with #twitterfiction.
So what are you waiting for?
